Frequently Asked Questions

How can Microblading or Powder Brows help me?

Some of the benefits of permanent makeup include: full and even brows, spend less time getting ready for your day when applying make-up, sweat and waterproof makeup, and increased overall confidence!

How Long do the Results Last?

Cosmetic Tattooing is designed to fade over time. Results of permanent makeup can last approximately 1-3 years after your first two appointments. This time frame will vary for each person due to factors such as skin type, skin and medical conditions, medications,  lifestyle, and how well they have followed pre-care and aftercare instructions for their procedures.  Most individuals choose to have a touch up every 12-36 months.

Does it hurt to have Permanent Makeup done?

Discomfort is minimal for most clients of permanent makeup, as a topical numbing agent is applied to ensure the most comfortable experience possible. However, tolerance will always vary from client to client.

What is the difference between Microblading and Powder Brows?

While Microblading uses a hand tool made up of very fine needles resembling the shape of a blade to manually draw hair like strokes so pigment may be deposited, a powder brow - also known as microshading, uses a tattoo machine to apply a soft, subtle, pixelated shading across the entire brow. Microblading is best for younger, dry skin types, while a powder brow is perfect for all skin types and may be recommended if you have oily, combination, acne prone, or mature skin.

How Long is the Appointment?

Your initial appointment will include a consultation, mapping and designing your brows to get your perfect custom shape, pigment selection, and of course, the actual microblading or powder brow procedure.  All of this usually takes around 3 hours.
